Which Cryptocurrency Are You Based On Your Astrological Sign?

Out of the thousands of cryptocurrencies out there, you’re probably wondering, which cryptocurrency are you based on your astrological sign? Luckily for you, Blocklr has looked to the heavens—and the cryptocurrency market—to figure out exactly what your cryptocurrency astrological sign is.

Like any astrological predictions, nothing celestial bodies says is for certain. In other words, do not read this as cryptocurrency investment advice.

Capricorn: EOS.IO (EOS)

December 22 — January 20

Capricorn, the ambitious yet conservative ram, is disciplined and independent. And for that reason, Capricorns most resemble EOS.IO (EOS), a smart-contract focused blockchain built for large-scale dApps, or decentralized applications.

Not only is EOS perfect for conservative big businesses, but it’s a great token for the cautious cryptocurrency investor. Specifically, EOS has no transaction fees. If the thrifty Capricorn still isn’t convinced, know that EOS.IO is licensed by MIT, one of the most established names in technological innovation.

Aquarius: TRON (TRX)

January 21 – February 18

Which cryptocurrency are you based on your astrological sign? If you’re an eccentric, rebellious yet friendly Aquarius, you’re just like TRON (TRX). This cryptocurrency wants to defy the digital trend towards lack of privacy by helping people secure their data. In other words, TRON wants to “heal the internet”—just like humanitarian Aquarius!

Though entertainment focused, like fun-loving Aquarius, TRON isn’t in the top 10 cryptocurrencies. Aquarius, too, can be shy.

Pisces: Ethereum Classic (ETC)

February 19 – March 20

A classic water zodiac, Pisces is an empathetic and selfless astrological sign. And like Ethereum Classic (ETC), which forked from Ethereum (ETH) because they didn’t want to return $50 million in stolen cryptocurrency funds, Pisces can be a bit of a martyr.

Both Pisces and this cryptocurrency are faithful to a fault. Specifically, Ethereum Classic is faithful to the idea that blockchain is immutable, no matter what.

Aries: Bitcoin (BTC)

March 21 – April 19

Aries is the fearless leader of the zodiac. So, of course, there is no cryptocurrency for Aries beside Bitcoin (BTC), the one that started it all.

Back in 2008, Bitcoin simultaneously introduced the world to cryptocurrency and blockchain, the decentralized ledger technology behind it. Aries and Bitcoin are one and the same: impatient and impulsive, they both aggressively push the envelope. But where Aries and Bitcoin lead, others will follow.

Taurus: Ripple (XRP)

April 20 – May 20

Headstrong Taurus does its own thing—no matter what anyone says. Reliable and ambitious, with a penchant for the finer things in life, Taurus is most like Ripple (XRP).

The developers behind Ripple built it to cater to large financial institutions (think RBC, AMEX, and Santander). And like Ripple, Taurus wants to get stuff done in a reliable and lucrative way. This means adding global payment processing and blockchain technology to name-brand institutions.

Gemini: Litecoin (LTC)

May 21 – June 20

What cryptocurrency would restless and youthful Gemini be other than Litecoin (LTC)? Just like impulsive Gemini, Litecoin forked from Bitcoin to create a newer, faster cryptocurrency. While Bitcoin blocks take approximately 10 minutes to build, Litecoin blocks can be completed in under 3 minutes.

Additionally, Geminis are notoriously bad with money. Luckily for Geminis, Litecoin has low transactions fees so no need to be thrifty.

Cancer: Zcash (ZEC)

June 21 – July 22

The hard-shelled Cancer is a sentimental one. Though you can get to know, and love, the crab, they’re often private people. All the more reason for Cancer to use Zcash (ZEC), a private cryptocurrency that uses cryptography to conceal the identities of its users.

Zcash is also a fork of Bitcoin. For the sentimental Cancer, Zcash connects them back to Bitcoin, the first and most iconic of cryptocurrencies.

Leo: Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

July 23 – August 22

Which cryptocurrency are you based on your astrological sign if you’re Leo, the drama queen of the zodiac? They have no problem causing a scene—like Bitcoin Cash (BCH) did when it forked from Bitcoin in 2017. With Bitcoin Cash’s smaller block size and easier Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism, Leo can make quicker, more impulsive choices.

Plus, Leo loves a rivalry. And what bigger rivalry than Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash, the highest market cap competition in cryptocurrency?

Virgo: Ethereum (ETH)

August 23 – September 22

Humble Virgo is hardworking and likes to keep things running smoothly in the background. Similarly, Ethereum (ETH) functions as the ‘gas’ that keeps the complex, Ethereum blockchain up-and-running.

But unlike Bitcoin, which steals the cryptocurrency news spotlight, Ethereum is less a currency and more a way to keep the dApps and smart contracts working. Virgo, too, can be a shy workhorse.

Libra: Tether (USDT)

September 23 – October 22

Libra is all about harmony—as is Tether (USDT), a stablecoin. Whereas other cryptocurrency prices fluctuate independently of fiat, or government-backed currency, Tether price is tied to the USD.

Loyal Libra doesn’t want to rock the boat, and neither does Tether. Like Libra, Tether cannot say ‘no’, to anything. In other words, they’re following fiat while existing within the cryptocurrency market. For example, despite a recent downtown, Tether has re-pegged to the USD.

Scorpio: Monero (XMR)

October 23 – November 21

Ambitious and secretive Scorpio doesn’t care what you think. And if you ask a Scorpio, which cryptocurrency are you based on your astrological sign, they already know the answer: Monero (XMR), the world’s premier anonymous cryptocurrency.

Monero automatically encrypts the sender and receiver’s address, and the amount exchanged between them, perfect for taciturn Scorpio. There is also a church dedicated to this black market crypto. Above all else, Scorpio is motivated, and so is Monero, which has the tenth highest cryptocurrency market cap.

Sagittarius: Dash (DASH)

November 22 – December 21

Sagittarius suffers from wanderlust, meaning that this energetic and curious fire sign is a traveler, above all else. As its name would imply, Dash (DASH) is also going places.

Instead of cryptocurrency mining, Dash uses masternodes to validate a transaction at a much faster speed. There’s no need for Sagittarius to slow down when using a quick processing crypto like Dash.

Your Cryptocurrency Astrological Sign

There are thousands of coins in the cryptocurrency market. There is brazen yet secretive Monero, industrious Ethereum, stablecoin Tether and trailblazing Bitcoin. So why not turn to the heavens and ask, which cryptocurrency are you based on your astrological sign? This isn’t the first time that cryptocurrency and celestial bodies overlapped. In fact, cryptocurrencies are known to moon every once in a while.
