- 2026 · Data breach: Disclosed 5 Jan 2026: Global-e, the third-party payment processor for Ledger.com orders, was breached and customer names, contact details and order data were accessed. Number of Ledger customers not disclosed. No payment data, seed phrases or funds were involved. source
- 2023 · Supply-chain attack: On 14 Dec 2023 a former employee's NPMJS account was phished and malicious versions 1.1.5-1.1.7 of the Ledger Connect Kit library were published, draining wallets that connected to affected dApps for about 5 hours. About $600,000 was stolen. Ledger pledged full reimbursement of victims by end of February 2024 (reimbursement pledge per https://news.bitcoin.com/ledger-responds-to-connect-kit-exploit-with-reimbursement-plan-security-overhaul/). About $600K taken; customers were made whole. source
- 2020 · Data breach: Ledger's e-commerce and marketing database was accessed via an API key in June 2020 (found July 2020). About 1 million email addresses were taken; Ledger first identified 9,532 customers with detailed records, and a December 2020 dump exposed names, postal addresses and phone numbers of about 272,000 customers. No funds, payment data or devices were affected. source
